Homestay at Kinabalu Park and Kolam Air Panas

Wow! Tajuk....

I was thinking whether to write about this or not. In the end, aku coret juga.

It's about the experience I had when I was at a Homestay in Kinabalu Park for 3D2N (27/11/13 - 29/11/13) ... And I did mention this in my previous post.

It was already being planned prior to the date. However, only 23 ~was it?~ members were able to join. The rest, no cuti, ada paper, kerja, and adalah beberapa perkara yang menghalang dorang dari ikut berseronok. My parents also cannot come because my brotha ada paper hari tu.

I don't remember what time we arrived there, it was in the afternoon... nah! who cares... but it was cold... and I didn't put on my sweater.

Once I set my foot in the house... dang!! the floor, though it has carpet, it's still chilly cold that I put on the socks immediately.

At night, even to sleep, I had to put my sweater on. But, it was still freezing cold. Then I decided to layer my sweater, I took my thickest sweater, doubled my pants with jeans, put on socks and pull the blanket over to sleep. It did little to warm me up though. Kaki gunung... what you expect. Kabus lagi yang tebal... tapi aku tidur dengan nyenyaknya ~am a heavy sleeper anyway~.

The next day, we went to poring hantam kolam mandi air panas pula. 

I think, there were only few people there early in the morning, majoriti kolam kena sapu oleh kami semua. Habis orang2 sana tu tengok2 we all... anyway, I just enjoyed my time.

After menghantam public bath tub tu, pegi pula hantam rock pool (air dia sejuk gila). So berulang-alik la aku dari kolam air sejuk ke kolam air panas. Betul-betul macam orang sakai. Tapi last2, kena juga aku jaga kolam air sejuk tu sebab anak2 saudara aku yang masih kecil comel tu mandi sana... aku dengan rela hati menjaga dorang.

Some of my family members went to the pondok2 kecil yang disediakan berdekatan dengan kolam terbuka, ntahlah apa nama dia. Dengan jelesnya aku ke sana dan pergi mengintu. 

Pondok ni ada serve jakuzi.

Rupa2nya dorang sudah berendam2 dalam jakuzi yang tersedia... cis! menyesal aku... aku join and spent the rest of  the time berendam2 dalam jakuzi. Ah! so very good. 

Selepas itu, we went to Taman Rama-Rama. Having to see various species of butterflies... honestly, I didn't enjoy that taman. Nothing so nice except all those rama-rama and serangga2 yang telah diawet.

Tiba-tiba pula ia di sini.

At I-don't-know-what-time-it-was, we went to Mount Kinabalu Resort/ Hotel Perkasa just for rehat and sight seeing.

Selepas tu, balik ke homestay. Nothing much to do selain ambil gambar, jalan2... and entah mengapa aku tersangat cergas pada petang itu. Asyik2 shoot gambar melompat sampailah malam. Malu aku letak gambar!

I spent the night star-gazing outside the house & berstory2 telling dengan kazen & adik2 aku. Sometimes the stars will be clouded by the kabus. 

It was nice... my real purpose was, I wanted to see meteorit... orang biasa panggil "shooting star" ka.. tapi bukan untuk minta hajat ba... I just love the feeling... dulu time kecik2 selalu nampak bintang lalu... na! melalut sudah!! Tapi, malam tu, bintang lalu pun tiada.

It's so cold and there'll be the time, bila bercakap / hembus nafas, wap keluar. Terasa macam di luar negara gitu.

Puncak gunung Kinabalu... selepas subuh.

Next time maybe, kalau ada homestay lagi, aku mo join. I never knew that it was actually a very superb experience...

P/S : I don't know why it took me several days to finish this... Bila kelazy-an melanda! -_-
